Acrylic Paintings
Surprisingly close up details of plants and flowers, depictions of Southwestern images, ancient Indian pueblos, beautiful landscapes along with centuries old, rustic adobe dwellings are favorite subject matters. I work on stretched canvas using multiple layers of acrylic paint in a representational but slightly surrealistic style using whimsical colors with stylized shapes. Collage or photographs can be found on some of the paintings.

Original Prismacolor Pencil
Drawings
Awe inspiring landscapes, colorful florals, unique architecture and detailed pet portraits can be seen in my original Prismacolor pencil drawings. I usually like to use smooth, acid free 100 lb. Bristol Board paper to depict very detailed, realistic images. These are carefully drawn with multiple layers of color to create richness and depth.
